Can Coll de Pincaró is a magnificent country house of the 17th century, settled on a mountain pass of an untouched area of the Girona Pyrenees. Surrounded by woods and silence for many miles around, at night we can't see a light other than the moon and the stars. We are surrounded by green while enjoying almost 300 sunny days a year.

 

We are constituted as ab association devoted to the development of a sustainable rural culture based on the principles of Permaculture. We are focused on :

 

- Approaching rural reality by promoting ecotourism

- Managing a family based self-sufficient farm

- Providing a space for human development in harmony with nature

The house is practically self-sufficient: the electricity is produced by solar panels and the heating is worked by the central fireplace. We make our own fresh bread and pasta, game sausages and patés, marmalades and jams (from our fruit trees and from wild berries and nuts), and we grow our own organic vegetables from which we prepare pickles, chutneys and other vegetable preserves. We also breed chickens and ducks. We offer half-board and full-board service, using our self-grown organic products, as well as those of other local farmers, to cook our specialities.

 

Our guests may enjoy the friendly, family atmosphere of the house, without lacking the comfort of privacy. They have access to all the areas in the kitchen so that they can see how the meals are cooked, which we very often end up eating at the same table.

 

We also have a large luminous hall (150m2) with carpet floor available for group events, workshops or retreats.​​
